The Quality is great. Thick, high quality materials. Can be used in many configurations (not just the couple that are illustrated on the package). The cover does cover the part of the screen where you go back/go to the homepage. This can be remedied by simply turning the screen over (assuming it is unlocked). One bigger problem is that one of the two speakers is completely covered by the case. This is a pretty significant design flaw in that the speakers are not that loud to begin with. I love this case, but it appears it was rushed out simply based on the dimensions of the product and not the product itself.
This is a well made case but with a major design flaw. One of the stereo speakers is covered. How can this be touted as a Kindle Fire case? I've noticed several other complaints listed above but no response from M-Edge. Apparently they are avoiding this issue.

After trying and disliking a couple of cheap Kindle Fire cases sold at Amazon, I came back to an M-Edge case for the quality. This case is really well made, and fits the Fire perfectly. It's thick and protective but not bulky. The different levels for using it as a stand are great, and I've found that there are actually 4 different landscape stand modes. Plus when not in use as a stand, wrapping the front cover under itself into a triangle makes the Fire easier to hold in landscape position. My only complaint about the case is that the border can sometimes make it hard to slide to button in the very bottom (in landscape mode) of the screen. That just requires a little bit of adjustment when touching the buttons.
I have the incline case in red and am very happy with it. It is sturdy and well made. I had a couple of concerns before I bought it, both were unwarranted: First, I was concerned that the “half frame mounting” would not be sturdy enough because I use my Fire vertically/in portrait mode about 90% of the time. I thought that having the Kindle only half secured would be a problem. It is not. The mounting feature has elastic connecting it to the back of the case, so the Kindle is held firmly in place at all times. Second, all of the pictures on the website showed the case functioning as a stand, none showed it being used as a classic e-reader case with the front cover folded flat back behind the Kindle. Thankfully, this case folds back just like you would expect. The ability to function as a stand is definitely a plus. Other notes: the magnetic closure is definitely strong. You can hold the case upside down and shake it and the cover does not come free of the magnets. It should be fine inside a bag or backpack. The store I purchased from had both the red and the black in stock. The black felt much softer than the red; it must have to do with the dye. It obviously wasn't that big of a problem since I chose the red, but it was a very noticeable difference.
I love this Kindle Fire jacket! It is not bulky, fits perfectly, and gives my Kindle the feel of a book. It is magnetized, so holds itself shut. I love it!
I love this cover for the quality feel of the material and the smart design, which gives several viewing options. I wish there was a photo showing the portrait stand mode, because I'm not sure I understand how to do that one.

The Incline Jacket, like other M-edge covers that I have purchased, looks great and the quality of workmanship is wonderful. The red leather is just beautiful and I love the magnetic closure. However, having ordered other products and being happy with those covers, I did not read the reviews. I wish I had. I'm truly disappointed that one speaker is covered by the jacket! This one flaw greatly diminishes my satisfaction with an otherwise great cover for my K Fire.
I loved this cover but once my Kindle Fire was safely and snuggly inside the cover I realized one speaker was covered. I returned it to the store. It is such a nice covere I almost wanted to keep it and put up with the loss of one speaker but I knew I would not be happy with it in the long run. So sad cuz I really loved the product. Hurry up M-Edge and resolve this problem. I want this cover!!

I just received the cover which I bought because of the reviews. I needed a cover which can stand up vertically and horizontally. The pictures you show are only for landscape positions. I can't figure out how to use it in portrait. The link you give has been removed. You should really include instructions in the package.

I ordered my case over the phone and was impressed again by the friendliness of the person on the other end. She answered all my questions, volunteered information she thought I might need, took my order & pulled my special request herself. (I wanted the version with the speaker holes.) Fantastic! The case is a beautiful cranberry red that I am very pleased with. I have two things that I'd change (if I were designing the next version) but they aren't major issues for me. First, I'd add some sort of closure system whether it was a magnet, velcro or a strap. Second, I wish the kindle was held in on both sides instead of just one. I've not had any problems with it slipping out but this is a new toy for me and I'm a little nervous. Other than those things I think it is a wonderful cover. It is exactly what I expected and I am very happy with it.
I really like my Kindle Fire Incline Jacket. My favorite thing about it is the magnetic closure. My Kindle already fits snugly into the jacket, but that extra closure, and the little click you hear when the magnets come together really helps it feel secure. I've looked at a lot of other covers and this one just seemed like it would protect my Kindle the best ... plus it's RED! I've used the incline function a couple of time and it has worked well. The only thing that I wish it had is two extra elastic straps for the unsecured corners, that could be slipped on and off depending on what you're doing. Again, it is pretty snug already, but I figure when it comes to electronics, it doesn't hurt to be careful.
I love the cover, but like others comment, it covers too much of the speakers. Would like to know when/where the new cover with speaker holes will be available!
LOVE LOVE LOVE this cover!!! My bf got it for me and he got little jealous how cool my kindle looked in the incline jacket so I got him one to surprise him. After that he keep complementing how nice the jacket is and according to his direct words "we have matching kindle cover." I have red and he has black: the red goes so well with all my outfit and black made my man more professional when he is reading documents by using his kindle. expect more cool stuff from you guys M-edge!!
I love this cover for my Kindle Fire!!! I have it in 2 of the 4 colors! I love that it is leather and closes totally by magnets only...no straps of any kind! Love it and have showed it off to several friends whom have bought it too!
Purchased for my Kindle Fire. Color purple is a very beautiful color, and not overpowering. Love the magnetic closure. Also like how the Kindle slides into sleeve, and the power button on bottom is now not so easy to hit by mistake. The price is reasonable when you compare to others on the market, however, a great choice to protect your Kindle and use as a cover while reading in one of the 3 prop positions to watch a video/movie. Thrilled!

A friend has this Kindle Fire cover and was showing me how the Fire works. I now have my own and after checking out other makes I choose a purple M-Edge for my very own. The only drawback...It won't stand up in the "portrait" position.

After a lot of shopping and reading reviews, I picked this case for my wife's new Fire .... glad I did. She likes it, so for once I didn't screw up. She likes to read in bed, and this case holds her Kindle at just the right angle. It provides good protection for it as well ... it's been dropped once (no damage) and slammed into purses with no problem at all. Great product.
I am really happy with this product. It is well made and easy to use. But you know what I love? The COLOR!!! Retail stores and a lot of stores on line have plain black or dull brown. I am so happy to have a cover with a beautiful color. Thank you!

Purchased black Incline for father-in-law's new Kindle Fire. Workmanship and operation is flawless. This is the seventh M-Edge cover I have ordered/used for myself or family members (prior M-Edge cases - Kindle Gen 2 Prodigy (Brown leather), Kindle 2 Latitude, two different Kindle 3 Latitude, Kindle DX Latitude, Kindle 2 waterproof hardcase). Forgot - I am still using my Kindle 2 era M-Edge light; perfect for backpacking! I have dropped my Kindle 2/3 numerous times getting in and out of the car with no issues.
I just love, love, love my Incline Cover. I purchased mine at BJs for $10.00 cheaper but it only came in black. I like it so much I will probably order it in a more fun color. Vertical and horizontal positions work great. When holding it in my hand to read, I double fold the left side cover to the back and it gives me a nice secure grip. I definitely recommend it!!!

This is the second M-Edge product I've bought (the first was for an e-ink Kindle), and both of them are fantastic. Pros: -Build quality - It feels very solid and well built. -Magnets to hold the cover in place -Acts as a stand -Protective (one exception below) Cons: -The price is a bit steep. -Only one half of your Kindle is covered when you have it open, so it could potentially fall out of the case while you're using it. -The top of the case covers the right speaker. Overall it's a good choice. I love M-Edge's products and definitely recommend this cover.

I just wanted to say for those ordering on line that this case, contrary to other reviews, DOES have access to both speakers. I just watched a few hours of TV shows on my kindle fire and was very pleased with both the stand & quality of the speakers. The quality of the case, as to be expected from M-Edge products, is beautiful - mine is blue & I love the colour. It also has a magnetic snap closure which is a nice touch. I have a few M-Edge kindle cases (this one & two for the kindle keyboard) and have been very pleased with all purchases. I even ordered one case from the UK and the case arrived promptly (less than a week) and in perfect condition.
Pros: High quality, good looking, magnetic closure avoids straps, bands, etc., light weight, thin. Cons: One (tinny) speaker is covered (but the earphone jack is accessable), you must pull the Kindle out of the case for portrait mode, you only get one position (angle) in portrait mode. Suggestions for improvement: some micro-holes where the speaker is covered; a portrait mode that does not require removing the Kindle and rotating it - other than propping the case on a salt shaker (probably not easy for a device so small); one more color: dark brown that does not show scuffs or dirt (definitely not a Tan color) - it could use an earth-tone.
After doing research and reading lots of reviews, I found my way to M-Edge. I ordered the blue cover and I love it. It seems to be very durable, feels good and looks good, doesn't look cheap. I'm very happy with it!

As always, M-Edge delivers yet another quality cover for my Kindle. I received a Kindle Fire for Christmas and knew I needed to find a quality cover to protect it. I was hoping to find a Go! Jacket just like the one I have for my Kindle 3 which I absolutely love but the Incline is a much more versatile cover for the Fire. The magnetic closure keeps my Fire safe and sound. I personally don't use the "stand" feature as I use my Fire mostly for reading but the Incline provides all of the other features I was looking for. A great quality product!
After looking at every single option available the day after Christmas, I settled on this one. It fits my lifestyle very well, is portable, sturdy and secure. Would like to have it in a slight more fashion-forward version, but will enjoy this basic black for now.

This is a great cover. I have seen friends get the band type and it always looked funky. This cover looks professional. I don't use the speakers so that cover up is not a problem for me. The magnet is super the way it holds your Kindle. Love it...Love it....wish I got a cooler color...I got black....but it goes with anything...
A great cover. I like the magnet rather than a band to hold the flap cover on. Looks and feels like real leather. Highly recommend it.
Arrived as promised. Nice keeper for KindleFire and the color options were nice. The only disadvantage of this holder is no place to hold a stylus when not in use. Other than that--great item.
very nice cover....purchased 4.....great colors also....only one minor flaw--the cover goes over one of the 2 mediocre kindle fire speakers....maybe the material could be made to allow more sound out of them.....all things considered, I would definitely purchase this cover again!!!
I have an medge cover for my original kindle and the new incline cover is even better. The only problem was finding a store or sight that was sold out.
I love this cover. Mine is the purple color, which is a nice med-dark shade of purple. The kindle fits into it well. It's easy to prop up for viewing, easy to hold for reading. Very well made. I lookedin stores and online and found nothing that even compares.
My firend got one for Xmas.. I look in a lot of stores and couldn't find one.. Went on the web and found it...wouldn't settle for anything else.. outstanding product.
Great case, love the color and design. My only complaint is that the magnetic closure is a little weak and pops open when you don't want it to. Otherwise, good product for the price.

This case does exactly what I wanted for protection and use of my Kindle Fire. It is well made and an excellent value. I have used an M-Edge case for a Kindle 3rd Gen Keyboard will similar results. I would recommend it and other products for Kindle use.
This is the third jacket I have purchased from M-Edge (2 for earlier Kindle versions, 1 for the Kindle Fire). All three are excellent products highly recommended, mainly because of the protective features when travelling and the smart, compact appearance of each jacket. I got the red and purple one for the grandkids who got the kindle fire for Christmas,they where please with them. I got mine for my kindle fire at Amazon and it was twenty dollars more and isn't that much better so I really thought the price was great. If I should need a new one later I will order this product
My husband purchased his case at Staples, but since they only carried one color and I did not want ours the same, I went on line to your site and purchased the purple one. I love the case. it is lightweight and very easy to handle. Well made and it fits in my pocketbook when I want to take it with me. I bought this in purple for my new Kindle Fire and am very happy with it. I have another M-Edge cover for my e-ink Kindle that I also love. I wish this Fire cover had the platform cover option with the tab to allow it to stand in Portrait mode at a slight angle, but otherwise can't complain. I looked a long time for a protective case for the Kindle Fire. Choices were limited; M-edge customer service suggested this case and they were right on the money. It is perfect for my son's Kindle Fire. Fits snug and keeps it protected on all sides. The magnetic closure works great and you don't have to worry about a strap ripping off!

I was looking for a stylish jacket for mom's fire kindle. Remembering that my husband received a cover from M-Edge for his kindle and after 2 years it still looks brand new. Beautiful leather cover - I ordered red. Holds the Fire securely. I haven't tried anything with audio-use it mainly for reading and a little web browsing. The different positions work great. I highly recommend this cover.

After researching many options, decided to pull the trigger on the M-Edge Incline. Had looked at it in Best-Buy, so knew the quality was very good, but they were only stocking red (and the wife wanted purple). Found an online coupon and purchased directly from the site. Shipping was extremely fast, product was exactly what we expected. Well-constructed, precise stitching, soft interior. With the only issue being the one covered speaker (which I find is not problematic), this is a perfect product. Would not hesitate to buy from this vendor again.
I bought two of these as Christmas presents to fit Kindle Fires, one for my daughter (techie minded college student) and one for my wife, a homemaker, one purple and one red. They couldn't be happier with the look, feel and protection. I saw several brands in the stores but none with the feel and durability of the M-Edge. Good job! I won't need to buy a replacement for a long time unless they want a different color for a change.They are both happy, that makes me happy!

I ordered this item online direct because the retail store was completely sold out, and I wanted to be sure I received it for Xmas. It arrived in plenty of time and I am pleased with the quality and appearance.
I have three Kindles and each has been protected by M-Edge. The Incline is a good looking, well made cover that protects and holds my Fire securely without bulk. Yes, one speaker is covered by the jacket but it hasn't been a problem as far as I'm concerned. I bought a Decalgirl skin for my Fire; its purely decorative but makes my Fire distinctive. It was very difficult to find a cover that didn't cover up the skin entirely until I found the Incline. The jacket allows a portion of the front skin as well as part of the back skin to show. I am very pleased; its perfect!
Bought the red cover because black was sold out. I like the quality but I wish the angle support would work better in my lap. It does great on a table.
I LOVE my Kindle Fire cover. I had to deal with Customer Service about this purchase. Everyone was so very kind and helpful (and I actually was able to talk to real people!). This is a great company and I have already referred a friend to M-edge. Only complaint - I use a stylus and there is no where to attach it to the Fire cover. Thank you.
