Sturdy, and so great to have the stand. It even hooks to my steering wheel if I'm doing the soccer-mom thing.
This is my first Kindle cover for my first Kindle purchased a couple of months ago. I've used it now for a couple of weeks and I have no major complaints. I was a bit hesitant about whether the recharging cord would fit in the front pocket, given some complaints about similar covers; but, the cord and the AC adaptor both fit, although snuggly. I also keep a spare AAA battery for the e-Luminator Touch there. The cover makes it much easier and more comfortable to hold and use the Kindle. I assume the moulded mounting system is far more elegant and secure than elastic bands in other covers. My only minor complaint, which is directed not to the cover, but to the e-Luminator Touch, is that the light doesn't bend down enough to shine the light over the entire screen. I'm going to fix this by attaching a Velcro cord leash on the neck of the light so I can cinch it down far enough to put the light where I need it. In summary, I recommend this system to others.
