I love this case. It has provided solid protection for my kindle. The included light has enabled me to read anytime and anyplace I choose. I have had the case for over two years and given it some pretty rough use and IT STILL LOOKS BRAND NEW. This case is beautifully made and solid. I am buying a Kindle Fire and do not want any other case...I am waiting to buy an M-Edge.
I'm so glad I ordered this cover before it was discontinued. I LOVE it! Much better than a book type cover. It's easy to prop up or hold in your hand. The quality is great and I love the color (fuschia.) I will be keeping this for a long time!
This leather platform Kindle cover is the best. I love to be able to set it up on my table and keep hands off. It allows me to hold my grandbaby or eat breakfast and still be able to read. It's attractive, sturdy, and the special pockets inside hold a little cash, cards, or notes. I love that the m-edge light fits right inside the pocket and doesn't stick out at all. I hope they bring this type of case back because I would love to buy one in another color. I love my purple one, but would love to have another.
This red leather platform case has proven to be most attractive, The strap works well to support the Lenovo for reading and overall the combo looks so much better than my wife's Nook Touch that it makes her most jealous! She also has a red M-Edge case.

I just received the platform cover and I love it. I also have the GO cover which I like but this is easy to use as it folds back. I also have the book light and it fits perfectly in this cover and is ready for use whenever I need it.
I bought this cover because it fits the Sony PRS-950 perfectly! The leather is beautiful and very well constructed. For all those in search for a quality case for their Daily Edition Reader I highly recommend this one!
This was the first case I ever bought for a Kindle! I received my Kindle for Christmas in 2009, and this is the first case I picked out. I wanted a case that I could use at night, which would hold the E-Luminator light so I could read in bed, but would also stand up for me while eating lunch. This does all of that, and some! I ordered the synthetic leather in chocolate brown, and I *love* the feel of the synthetic leather. It's so wonderful and smooth -- I could hold it for hours! And I have! LOL!
I spent forever trying to choose the right jacket for my Kindle and am so glad I chose this one. Along with the E-Luminator, it makes my kindle completely useful in all situations. It's sturdy, attractive and very practical. Am just purchasing one for a friend who borrows mine when she travels!
In looking for a cover for my Kindle (generation 3) I wanted to be able to read "hands free" while having lunch at work. The M-Edge Platform cover works perfectly! It's also a real plus always having the e-Luminator light in the case ready whenever needed. I bought another light while waiting for this cover to arrive. The other light is great, but it was seldom where I needed it to be. I'd be in bed and have to run downstairs to get the light. Now if I have my Kindle with me, the light is right there. Also, the battery lasts very well. This is a great combo!
I absolutely love my M-Edge platform jacket! The main reason I chose this cover, is that it can stand up by itself. I have terrible nerve problems in my elbows, and it is very painful to hold a book for hours while reading - This cover solves my problem! The cover can also be flipped over and draped over your knees to hold the Kindle, so your arms don't get tired. I even bought one for my father-in-law because of this feature - he has problems holding books because of an autoimmune disease. The leather is wonderful quality, and looks beautiful too. I've had mine about a year and it still looks new. People often ask me where I bought it because it really stands out from other covers. Great product - I highly recommend it!
Yes. I have a case rotation. I have about 10 cases that I switch between depending on which bag I'm using, what I'm in the mood for, and whether or not I need my book light with me. My Platform Jacket is, first and foremost, great protection for my Kindle 2 - nicely padded and very well constructed. I never worry that my Kindle will fall out or get damaged when I'm using the Platform (or any of my M-Edge cases, actually). One of my favorite attributes of the Platform Jacket is the flip style. I love to stand my Kindle up while I read. The Platform allows me to do that easily. Plus, I can flip it over the top of my steering wheel in the car when I'm waiting outside my children's schools to pick them up. I also love the E-Luminator pocket - it's perfect. A+ for this case!
