Solid construction and the corner bands really hold it in place. Wish it had a small corner packet for a business card. I would purchase again.
Love this case. The design is very pleasing and I always get compliments. I only wish the inside material was more dirt resistant. The soft yellow fabric is already dirty.
I bought this when the first iPad came out and have loved it ever since. Currently I am using it for my iPad 2. It work great. It offerers amazing protection. The look of it is simple, discreet and looks like a notebook or a journal. don't waste your money with other cases.

This case was the perfect solution for my HP Touchpad, which has the same dimensions as the iPad 1 (albeit heavier an with rounder corners). My Touchpad fits perfectly in this case, and the lovely leather straps inside hold it snug an secure. They remind me of the straps you'd find inside an old trunk. The effect gives my clunky 21st Century gadget some old-world charm. This is also made with great materials--heavy canvas, soft microfiber, and of course, the lovely leather details. I'm very, very happy with this case. It's a great value for the price.

Love this cover! Got it in the navy with bright green and it's perfect! I get complements on it all the time! Fits iPad 2 perfect, held snug in case! Only complaint is that the top right corner band blocks the volume up button, but it's easy to pull off and adjust! Highly recommend for the price!
I purchased the case for my iPad. I like the design of the case, and the tight fit the case has. It ensures that the iPad will stay in the case when it's dropped, and the design and engineering of the case allows for all ports and switches to be fully accessible. I like the elastic band strap, it keeps the case open while I am working, and keeps the case closed when I am on the go.
After looking all over for an iPad cover, I finally found this Trip Jacket and it's perfect. Most cases are so bulky that they defeat the purpose of having a slim iPad. It's a simple, clean look. Very happy camper here!
Out of all the cases I bought here and other places for my iPad 2, this one is the one.... The only thing I really don't like is the elastic rings inside. One of the elastic rings is stretched out on the edges but is still is a great buy at the sale price. Snug fit and made of great materials...
Bought one of these a long time ago for my ipad1 and have been using it over device upgrades. It is timeless and elegant design without fancy functionalities - still one of the best available. As my wife got her own ipad, I came back to get her one in her favourite colour (green). Unluckily it seems that green is sold out :( If you manage to find green ones from a corner somewhere, I really would buy one.
The case is soft inside (to prevent damage to the screen) but very sturdy, without adding a great deal of bulk and weight! Well worth the price I paid.
I got a case like this for my nook a few years ago and it has always been my favorite case, so I got this for a gift for my dad. Unlike some people, I like the fact that the ipad does not snap into this case.

This is a nice cover that is simple and does what it is designed to do. It keeps your iPad protected. I like the strap to hold it closed. It's a must-have feature for an iPad cover that goes into my backpack or briefcase.

Love this case. Very comfortable and looks like a book in my bag. I got this case in navy blue and love it. I don't like only one thing, it's a little bit difficult to touch the volume buttons and i cannot use a back camera bc it doesn't have a loop for it. But overall great price and great case.
I wish I knew it when I ordered that the material on this would accumulate hair dust etc it is sitting in a corner somewhere because I dont have time to use the lint brush all the time!!

I have used the Trip Jacket (black & tan) for about 3 months now, and really think it's been perfect. It's simple, robust, and attractive. When carrying around, it just looks like a hardback notebook/journal, which makes it discreet, and also makes me feel safe leaving the iPod in the back seat of car, etc. The price was just right. I've told several friends when buying a new iPod that they'd be foolish to pay Apple for the junk in the store, when they can get something attractive and functional like this!
