I purchased this product after receiving a Kindle Fire HD for Christmas. One of the "strong" silicone straps at the corner has already broken after only 3 days usage. I have already thrown the box away so I can't return it to the store I purchased it from.
All of our cases are backed by a lifetime warranty against manufacturing and material defects and this case should not have broken under normal use or so quickly. We have emailed you regarding a replacement item. Anyone experiencing an issue with their M-Edge product should contact our Customer Service team through the Contact Us page of this site (linked at the bottom of this page). - Team M-Edge
Purchased this case to protect my 7" tablet, especially when traveling. So far, very satisfied. Very happy that it has a zipper for security. Love the 360 degree rotation. The multiple stand positions make reading and typing much easier. The case itself is very sturdy.
I like the fact that it has a zipper for more security. Also, I like the rotation feature.
I just bought a nexus 7 with the nexus case which is not functional, so I kept looking, and found this one with a smart design for a reasonable price.
I bought this case at goodwill for $3.00:) I needed it for my school iPad and didn't want to buy one new. I love the case and will buy another when this one wares out. The results buy one there worth it!!
Arrived sooner than expected. Don't believe the negative reviews of FedEx SmartPost you might have seen or heard. Love the product. Kindle Fire HD 7" (2013) fits good. Case looks great, and is VERY sturdy. Wish you guys carried a leather zipped case like this one....
Well made. Nice material and extremely handy for reading while drinking my coffee.
Tent position for both vertical and horizontal viewing. Pivoting mechanism seems a little clunky ... hopefully it will last. Elastic corner straps seem somewhat insecure.
I have had to rate this case with only two stars because it is adverised as Universally fitting and being compatitlbe with the Nook HD. I am having a big issue with the case pressing on the "N" button on the NookHD and draining the power when it is zippered and closed. I hate to do this because the case is well constructed but there need to be some design changes so it is compatible with the NookHD.
I bought this case for my boyfriend, who had been using one of my Kindle cases to house his Nexus 7. Sometimes, he wouldn't even use a case for it! I like that the case is black (very subtle and manly color), and the fact that it zips up was a major selling point. Also appealing is the way the Nexus can be propped up vertically or horizontally (since the case also doubles as a stand), a feature that will come in handy when watching videos or even doing an Internet search.
The silicon straps continually slip off. Extremely frustrating. Still looking for someone out there to offer a good case for my nook HD
I really liked the case, but the elastic that holds the tablet presses right against the button that turns the tablet on/off (Samsung 7"). I've had to move the elastic a bit in the right hand corner so it's not over the button. I'm afraid the tablet might fall out, but so far it's been okay. Time will tell.....
Love the fit, but wish it had the zippered pocket on the front. I own 2 others for different tablets and they have the zippered pockets.
I received the kindle fire hd for Christmas. I recently purchased this cover for it only to be very disappointed! Two of the straps that hold the kindle in have broken!!
I bought this case for my Nexus 7. I like that it zips closed to hold the device securely. I already dropped it once and not a bit a damage thanks to the quality case. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is that it is not very stable when propped up in the portrait position. I find that I have to use the device in landscape position when I want to get it more vertical. Overall, I think this one of the best cases I seen for traveling with a tablet.
I first asked (e-mail) if this case would fit my Blackberry Playbook and I was told yes, it does and to be fair, it does, but, I can hardly get the zipper to go around..it is just to snug. I thought then, I would use it for my Kindle 3 and it also was to tight. The outside of the case also picks up whatever it happens to be on. I was told by M-edge, I could send it back if I would pay for it, because, I guess I live in Canada. Anyway, the case it just not wide enough, so I will keep it. I still think M-edge is a great Co., but, am disapointed with this particular case.
I recently purchased this case for my Kindle Fire HD and I love it! It has everything I was looking for in case. I had a case that was very similar to this for my Kindle 2 and I loved it as well. However, I've worn out that case (the zipper came apart) and I can't find another one like it. I want the zip closure and I haven't been able to locate one for my Kindle 2. Any suggestions on where I could get this case for my Kindle 2?
Even though product description states: Does not fit new Nexus 7; I bought this case on clearance @ local Target store in Canada specifically to safely secure and prop up my brand new Google Nexus 7 with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon™ S4 Pro processor and 2GB of RAM. The case is completely functional and secures the tablet perfectly except for minor tightness with the four straps holding the Nexus 7 in place, which is a non-issue considering everything else positive about the tablet case.
I love this case. I love the zipper to keep it closed and the spin stand is very helpful. However, I've had this case for awile and the straps are rather stretched out. Also, for my Nook HD, the case's straps click the power button, which wakes up my Nook, and then the ridges of the stand keep my Nook awake by pressing the button that you slide to unlock. This drains the battery. Also the straps cover the headphone jack and the micro sd slot. So although I am very happy with medge's idea for this case, I thought it fell short for Nook HD use.
I just purchased the m-edge universal case for 7' tablets. I love this case already due to it's quality construction, versitilety of the design and the solid protection it offers my Asus Memo Pad HD 7. It is an extraordinary value for the money and would be at twice the price!
I bought a fully zippable medge case for my first edition Nook quite awhile ago from Best Buy. My Nook goes with me everywhere and is completely protected in my bag. I dont worry about it at all. So when i bought a tablet to study with for school, I had one case in mind. I bought my medge case for it within an hour of getting home with my tablet! This goes with me everywhere too now. And the case does its job. And the customer service from medge is unbeatable!! I will continue to purchase medge products! 100% loyal to medge!
Somehow I have ended up being a Kindle Collector. I love the machine and all its capabilities. And the only case I will consider for my Kindles is the MEdge case. I have 5 cases to date, for different Kindle models and I love the way they fit the Kindles and the fantastic protection they provide. I wouldn't get any other brand. I also commend MEdge on the high quality of customer service. I have had a couple of questions in the past which Jackie has immediately helped me with and has resolved to my satisfaction. I know that I can count on MEdge for value and quality.
